Cummins Student IT 2026 is hiring final-year B.Tech students in Pune as AI / ML interns. Cummins Inc., a global power technology leader, is offering a hands-on internship where you will work on machine learning and modern AI systems alongside experienced AI engineers.

Responsibilities

• Clean, process and analyze raw datasets to prepare them for modeling
• Assist in developing and fine-tuning ML models (classification, regression)
• Work on modern AI systems including NLP and LLMs
• Track performance metrics (F1-score, AUC-ROC) and optimize model accuracy
• Deploy models via APIs into application workflows with software teams

Eligibility

• Final year (4th year) B.Tech student in CS, IT, Data Science or related stream
• Strong Python skills with Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-Learn
• Hands-on project experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Solid understanding of SQL for data extraction
• Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, probability and statistics
