About the role

ComScore, a leading cross‑platform audience measurement firm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Product Data Engineering team in Pune. You will design, build, and maintain petabyte‑scale data pipelines and platforms, primarily on AWS and Snowflake, while guiding junior engineers and ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement end‑to‑end features and system components for large‑scale data solutions.
Write production‑grade code with tests, documentation, and observability, using AI coding assistants responsibly.
Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor peers.
Debug and resolve production issues, even for components you did not author.
Define data models that integrate multiple large datasets.
Collaborate with DevOps, Release Management, Research, and Operations teams.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
4–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Skills

Proficiency in Python, Java or Scala on Linux.
Hands‑on experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, AWS EMR.
Solid SQL skills and familiarity with shell scripting.
Experience building data platforms on AWS and Snowflake.
Ability to use AI development tools effectively.
