About the role

CME Group is actively hiring Software Engineer I for its Bangalore (Bagmane Tridib) office. This is a fantastic opportunity for fresh engineering graduates to engineer secure, scalable and reliable technology solutions that advance CME Group in the global derivatives marketplace and serve the risk management needs of customers around the world.

Responsibilities

• Coding (Small Task Level): Conducts coding at a small task level; potentially minimal design under guidance from senior engineers.
• Unit Testing: Conducts unit testing of own code.
• Reviews unit tests with a mentor to learn engineering rigour.
• Language Proficiency: Exhibits basic proficiency in programming language knowledge; writes application modules and unit tests with guidance.
• Database Knowledge: Exhibits knowledge of basic database SQL and basic database modelling.

Eligibility

• B.E / B.Tech / BCA / MCA (CS / IT / related)
• 2025 and 2026 batch

Skills

• SQL: Basic knowledge of SQL and performance of basic database modelling.
• Programming Languages: Basic proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C# or similar).
• Engineering Discipline: Ability to write application modules and unit tests with guidance.
