Banking Support Analyst (Officer)

About the role

The Banking Support Analyst assists Citi's Investment Banking team in Mumbai by handling data‑related tasks, preparing documentation, and generating routine reports. Working under senior staff, the analyst ensures accurate information flow for transactions such as capital raises and M&A, while maintaining compliance and risk standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and format documentation for prospective deals, adhering to internal guidelines.
• Collect, validate, and organise client and transaction data in central databases.
• Generate predefined market‑analysis and performance reports on schedule.
• Support creation of presentation decks by formatting data and designing visuals.
• Assist in due‑diligence and risk‑assessment activities through documentation gathering.
• Maintain and update databases of contacts, transactions, and market research.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline data‑management processes.
• Perform additional operational tasks as directed.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0‑2 years of experience in banking, finance, or a similar domain.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
