Apps Developer Programmer Analyst

About the role

Citi is looking for an Apps Developer Programmer Analyst in Pune to contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of client‑server applications that support the bank’s technology ecosystem. The position suits fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience and offers exposure to Citi’s extensive information‑system landscape.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define system enhancements using application development procedures and basic knowledge of related technical areas.
• Analyze issues, propose recommendations, and implement solutions aligned with business and industry standards.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and scripting while writing basic code to meet design specifications.
• Develop familiarity with Citi’s information systems, client‑server development, network operations, database and systems administration, and data‑center processes.
• Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Document findings and communicate solutions clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university qualification.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience in programming, debugging, or business application development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technology and business teams.
