Senior UI / Full Stack Engineer (Frontend)

About the role

Cisco is looking for a senior UI/Full‑Stack engineer to craft modern, user‑friendly front‑ends for its Industrial IoT management suite. You will work with React, TypeScript and Java back‑ends to deliver secure, high‑performance interfaces that simplify complex industrial data for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive React applications while integrating with Java services.
• Lead UI initiatives, mentor junior developers and steer technical discussions.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross‑functional Agile teams.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews and performance optimisation.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields.
• 8‑12 years of professional experience (6‑10 years for Master’s graduates).
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Skills

• Proficient in JavaScript, React, Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with Java back‑end integration, REST APIs and JWT authentication.
• Familiarity with Git, Webpack, Babel and NPM workflows.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme.
• Understanding of secure coding, performance tuning and scalable UI architecture.
