Ciena, a global leader in high‑speed connectivity, is looking for a Software Engineer to work on North‑Bound Interfaces such as REST, NETCONF and gRPC, with a focus on YANG‑based modeling and AI‑driven workflows. The position is based in Gurgaon, India and offers a collaborative environment across geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced features using YANG models and AI pipelines.
Produce software designs that extend product capabilities.
Participate in development and validation of networking software.
Maintain clear technical documentation for code and designs.
Integrate software with existing platform and hardware components.
Report status of individual or small‑team deliverables.
