CGI Apprentice Hiring 2026 is now open! CGI, one of the world’s largest IT and business consulting firms, is actively hiring B.E/B.Tech freshers for the role of Apprentice under its Software Development and Engineering division in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Responsibilities

• IT Application Development: Work on the development, enhancement, and maintenance of IT applications using technologies like Java, .NET, and SQL under the guidance of senior team members.
• ERP Exposure: Gain exposure to ERP systems and contribute to understanding and interpreting business requirements related to processes such as Sales & Distribution (SD).
• Problem Analysis: Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and support the team in building effective and efficient solutions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with internal stakeholders, ensuring updates are communicated promptly and requirements are well understood.
• Adaptability: Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to new and emerging technologies quickly, keeping pace with evolving client and project needs.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field is mandatory.
• Batch Year: 2025 or 2026 graduating batch.
• Academic Performance: Strong academic record with no major backlogs; excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of .NET, Java, and SQL. Familiarity with ERP systems is desirable but not mandatory.
