About the role

Caterpillar is seeking an IT Analyst focused on application automation. The candidate will join the automation team to design, develop, test and deploy enterprise‑wide RPA solutions, primarily using Automation Anywhere, while collaborating with global business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable RPA bots following agile practices.
  • Gather requirements, analyse processes and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Create reusable components and set RPA development standards.
  • Integrate bots with ERP, web, desktop applications and databases.
  • Lead technical reviews, testing, deployment and production support.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best‑practice governance.

Eligibility

  • B.E or B.Tech in any discipline.
  • Strong problem‑solving and requirement‑analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent English communication for global collaboration.

Skills

  • Hands‑on RPA development, preferably Automation Anywhere.
  • Agile development methodology.
  • Process analysis and documentation.
  • ERP and system integration knowledge.
  • System and software testing expertise.
