About the role

Caterpillar is looking for an MLOps Engineer who will own the end‑to‑end deployment, monitoring and upkeep of AI‑driven applications. You will work on deep‑learning pipelines, model versioning and automated retraining to keep the models accurate and valuable for the business.

Responsibilities

Design, build and launch pipelines for deep‑learning, neural networks, chatbots and image‑processing workloads.
Partner with data scientists to fine‑tune hyper‑parameters and maintain feature stores.
Manage model registries, versioning and artifact lineage in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
Implement automated testing and CI/CD for model training and inference.
Set up monitoring to detect data or model drift and trigger retraining cycles.
Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, SageMaker and Step Functions to orchestrate workflows.
