Associate Software Engineer

About the role

Calix is hiring fresh candidates for the role of Associate Software Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Linux, x86 virtualization, and inter-process communication (IPC).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and scripting languages like Python.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP, UDP, IP, VLANs, NTP, xSTP, DHCP, DNS, and NAT, along with OS infrastructure concepts.
• Understanding of unit testing and automation principles.
• Good knowledge of computer programming fundamentals, data structures, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
• Strong communication skills with excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication abilities.
