About the role

The Junior WordPress Developer will turn design mockups into fully functional, high‑performing WordPress websites. Working closely with the design team, you will build themes and plugins, optimise performance, and ensure smooth backend integration while maintaining clean, reusable code.

Responsibilities

  • Develop WordPress sites from provided designs with pixel‑perfect accuracy.
  • Collaborate with designers to evaluate feature feasibility during the design phase.
  • Create and customise themes and plugins, including ACF Pro and Elementor integrations.
  • Implement front‑end code, run performance tests, and optimise page load speed.
  • Diagnose and resolve errors, handling backend tasks such as database and server integration.
  • Maintain well‑documented, reusable code and adhere to best practices.

Eligibility

  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and core PHP.
  • Hands‑on experience with WordPress theming, ACF Pro, Elementor and custom post types.
  • Ability to convert static HTML pages into functional WordPress themes.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools and performance optimisation techniques.
