System Engineer I

About the role

Blue Yonder is seeking a System Engineer I to monitor Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) ecosystems and perform relational SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• EDI Production Monitoring: Monitor daily B2B Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processing queues to identify data pipeline flow drops or exchange constraints.
• Transaction Resolution: Research and debug critical transaction file failures within target SLAs.
• Database Validation: Construct custom SQL queries to cross-verify transactional integrity across backend relational database systems.
• Alert Triage: Monitor runtime application error monitors and triage incoming production ticket streams efficiently.
• Root Cause Analysis: Partner closely with software engineering pods to provide analytical insights into recurring technical exceptions.

Eligibility

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) or an equivalent technical graduation domain.
• Minimum of 1 year and maximum of 3 years of practical experience operating inside a customer technical support ecosystem or cloud production application tracking role.
• Exceptional ability to write, modify, and optimize SQL queries.
• Strong logical and root-cause analytical workflows to manage and close product tickets within standard corporate Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
