About the role

Barclays is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and maintain the hardware, software, network and cloud platforms that power its applications and data systems. The role focuses on reliability, scalability and security while applying software‑engineering practices and automation.

Responsibilities

Develop, deliver and sustain high‑quality infrastructure solutions that meet business needs for performance and availability.
Monitor systems, detect incidents and drive down mean‑time‑to‑resolution through data‑driven analysis.
Create and maintain automated scripts and processes to reduce manual effort.
Implement secure configurations and protect infrastructure from cyber‑threats.
Collaborate with product managers, architects and fellow engineers to define requirements and ensure seamless integration.
Stay current with emerging technology trends and contribute to internal technical communities.

Eligibility

Relevant experience working with Salesforce.com technologies.
Certified Salesforce Administrator.
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
Ability to work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional, multinational teams.

Skills

Proficiency with Salesforce platform and administration.
Experience in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail and quality‑focused output.
Capability to translate written instructions into actionable tasks.
Business acumen within financial services is advantageous.
