About the role

Barclays is looking for a Full Stack Java designer/developer to build and enhance end‑to‑end digital solutions for its Pune campus. The role blends backend Java development with modern front‑end technologies, emphasizing clean architecture, performance, and secure coding.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver high‑quality Java applications using Spring Boot (v3+).
  • Create responsive UI components with HTML5, TypeScript and either React (v16+) or Angular (v10+).
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers and peers to define requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers and promote best‑practice coding standards.
  • Implement unit tests with JUnit and JavaScript testing tools (Karma/Jest/Mocha) and follow secure coding guidelines.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, container platforms such as OpenShift, and stay current with emerging tech trends.
