About the role
Barclays is looking for a Full Stack Developer in Pune to design, build and enhance software solutions that support business and platform capabilities. The role involves creating scalable, maintainable code, collaborating with product and design teams, and ensuring security and quality through testing and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop high‑quality backend and frontend components using Java, Spring ecosystem and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Design, implement and consume REST/SOAP APIs while adhering to secure coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and peers to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor teammates and promote a culture of technical excellence.
- Write unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, Jest) and maintain CI/CD pipelines on AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to internal tech communities.
