Automation Tester

About the role

Barclays is looking for a fresh graduate to join its Pune office as an Automation Tester. You will design, develop and execute automated test scripts, collaborate with development teams, and help ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium and related frameworks.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of defects and support developers in fixing issues.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in testing and quality engineering.
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to internal technology communities.

Eligibility

• Graduation year 2025 or 2026 (any engineering/technology degree).
• No prior work experience required – freshers welcome.
