About the role

AVEVA is looking for a Services Consultant specializing in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The role involves designing, building, and maintaining MES applications using C#, .NET, SQL Server and JavaScript, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain MES applications with C#, .NET Framework/Core and RESTful Web APIs.
  • Write and optimise T‑SQL queries, stored procedures and database schemas in SQL Server.
  • Create responsive front‑end components using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Integrate MES solutions with external systems such as SAP, PLCs and SCADA.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, system design reviews and code reviews.
  • Diagnose and resolve application issues in production manufacturing environments.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with C#, .NET development and MES implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, T‑SQL and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and front‑end development.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
