Software Development Engineer

About the role

Amazon Development Center India (ADCI) is hiring a Software Development Engineer (SDE) for the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Inventory Management division based out of Karnataka (Bengaluru).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to conceive, specify, design, and launch business-critical web products.
• Architect, build, and deploy high-performance backend software services.
• Create optimization routines to manage large-scale statistical predictions on distributed environments.
• Engineer distributed storage components, relational/non-relational indexes, and optimized query pipelines.

Eligibility

• Minimum of 1 year of non-internship, full-time professional experience operating within an enterprise software development environment.
• Hands-on experience programming with at least one modern software language (such as Java, C++, Python, C#, or Go).

Skills

• Strong baseline analytical capability and programmatic problem-solving workflow.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and structural algorithmic efficiency metrics.
