Front End Engineer II, Amazon Leo

About the role

Amazon Leo is building a satellite‑based broadband service. As a Front End Engineer II you will design and develop the customer console using React and Next.js, delivering fast, accessible interfaces that let users purchase, manage and maintain their internet plans at global scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable front‑end applications with React, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Collaborate with back‑end engineers, UX designers and product managers to clarify requirements and ship integrated features.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback and uphold a high‑quality codebase.
• Own the full development lifecycle—from design and implementation to testing, deployment and operational support.
• Document architecture, testing procedures and onboarding guides for new team members.

Eligibility

• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee due to export‑control requirements.
• 2+ years of professional front‑end, web or mobile development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 1+ years of computer‑science fundamentals such as OOP, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
