About the role
The Associate Systems Engineer will join Altera Digital Health’s IT operations team to monitor and maintain critical applications and infrastructure. Working remotely for the Pune‑Baroda region, you will ensure high availability of services using industry‑standard monitoring platforms.
Responsibilities
- Track performance and uptime of applications and infrastructure with AppDynamics, LogicMonitor and Azure Monitor.
- Conduct health checks and tune SQL databases for optimal operation.
- Manage Windows Server and IIS configurations, applying updates and patches.
- Monitor interface subsystems to guarantee seamless data flow between systems.
- Provide L1/L2 incident support, diagnose issues and escalate when needed.
- Document system configurations, procedures and incident responses, and participate in root‑cause analysis.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 1‑3 years of experience in systems monitoring and support.
- Willingness to work in a 24×7 environment with shift rotations, including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Proficiency with AppDynamics, LogicMonitor and Azure Monitor.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL database monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows Server administration and IIS management.
- Strong analytical and root‑cause analysis abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
