About the role

Equifax is seeking a Software Engineer I to develop and maintain high‑scale applications using .NET technologies and cloud platforms. The position involves full‑stack development, code deployment, and collaboration within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and deploy applications with .NET Core, .NET Framework, MVC and GCP.
Enhance backend and UI components, ensuring security, scalability and operational excellence.
Apply modern practices such as serverless computing, micro‑services, CI/CD and infrastructure‑as‑code.
Investigate and resolve product or system issues, documenting solutions for team use.
Participate in estimation, sprint planning, story grooming and retrospectives.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science or a related discipline.
1‑3 years of overall IT experience.

Skills

Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, MVC and related frameworks.
Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure).
Knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework and web services (WCF, Web API).
Familiarity with source‑code management (Git/SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools.
