Akamai is hiring a Software Engineer to join their world-class IT DevOps Engineering team in Bangalore. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building scalable, maintainable code and developing automation solutions that drive global efficiency.

About the role

This is a phenomenal opportunity for Freshers (0-3 years experience) to work with a world-class IT DevOps Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust applications to support various business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application-related issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with system operators to analyze and implement new technical requirements.
• Ensure all code is written to be scalable, maintainable, and free of defects.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0 to 3 years of experience (Freshers are highly encouraged to apply).

Skills

• Exceptional Object-Oriented (OO) programming skills and strong competency in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
• Familiarity with at least one OO language such as Java, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
