About the role

Airbus India is looking for an Industrial System Engineer to help design and optimise plant layouts, digital twins and manufacturing processes for its aircraft programmes. The role blends digital manufacturing, lean principles and industrial architecture to create resilient, future‑ready production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plant layout concepts and 3‑D simulations for logistics and worker pathways.
  • Design jigs, tools and robotic material‑handling solutions using kinematics and flow simulation.
  • Apply ergonomic and health‑safety analysis to improve worker conditions.
  • Lead digital‑twin and Industry 4.0 initiatives, including AR/VR validation.
  • Implement lean manufacturing, GD&T tolerancing and configuration‑management processes.
  • Coordinate stakeholder requirements and align architectural solutions with business goals.

Eligibility

  • B.Tech, B.E, M.Tech or M.E in Mechanical, Industrial or Production engineering.
  • Ability to work independently and within trans‑national teams.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
