ITI Trainee – Electrician, Fitter & Machinist

About the role

As an ITI Trainee at ABB in Vadodara, you will work under a mentor to support the implementation, delivery and continuous improvement of production processes. You will monitor operations, perform basic quality and testing checks, manage consumables and spare parts, and report cycle‑time data to internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and improving products and services within the assigned area.
• Monitor the production line under supervision and conduct basic quality and testing inspections.
• Ensure optimal use of consumables, spare parts and follow preventive/corrective maintenance procedures.
• Collect and share cycle‑time metrics with relevant internal stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Valid ITI certificate from a recognized institute.
• Trade specialization in Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of tools and machinery pertinent to the trade.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of safety protocols and quality standards.
