Nutanix software runs on commodity servers from multiple original-equipment manufacturers and on public clouds including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, allowing customers to operate consistent infrastructure across data centres, edge sites, and public clouds. The company was founded in 2009 by Dheeraj Pandey, Mohit Aron, and Ajeet Singh and shipped its first hyperconverged infrastructure appliance in 2011.
