About the role

Zakapps is looking for fresh engineering graduates to join as Software Developers in Chennai. The role involves building end‑to‑end web applications using Java and modern front‑end frameworks, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and gaining hands‑on experience with cloud and DevOps basics.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs for data exchange.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and use Git for version control.
• Assist in basic CI/CD pipeline setup and cloud deployment.

Eligibility

• Graduated in B.E/B.Tech (CS/IT) or MCA/M.Sc (CS/IT) within the last three years.
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

Skills

• Java and Spring Boot.
