Software Engineer

About the role

Wells Fargo is hiring a Software Engineer for its Bangalore office to contribute to identity and access management solutions, primarily using Saviynt. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying enhancements while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure security, compliance, and high service quality.

Responsibilities

• Participate in low to moderately complex technology initiatives, including installations, upgrades, and deployments.
• Identify and implement improvements for service quality and availability.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document components for projects within the technology domain.
• Analyze technical challenges, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations.
• Provide information and support to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
• Maintain expertise in operating systems and databases such as Linux, WebLogic, Tomcat, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Manage issues, incidents, and change processes using Jira and ServiceNow while adhering to SLAs.
• Work within Agile methodologies and contribute to iterative delivery.

Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years of software engineering experience (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of experience implementing IAM solutions like Saviynt.
• Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, XML, and SQL.
• Experience with SCIM and REST APIs.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Technology or Engineering.
• Knowledge of information security concepts and at least one IAM tool.
