Senior Software Engineer – Front-End / ReactJS

About the role

Walmart is seeking a senior front‑end engineer to design and deliver next‑generation merchant experiences. You will build scalable web applications using React, TypeScript and AI‑driven UI patterns, ensuring the interfaces are intuitive, performant, accessible and maintainable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex React‑based front‑end systems with reusable UI components.
• Architect and implement AI‑assisted, human‑in‑the‑loop workflows for review and approval.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to translate requirements into high‑quality code.
• Ensure applications meet performance, accessibility, testability and scalability standards.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and mentor junior engineers.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in front‑end development.
• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building AI‑enhanced user interfaces.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (no immigration sponsorship provided).
