About the role

Volvo Group India is looking for fresh engineering graduates to join its National Apprenticeship Training Scheme as a Graduate Apprentice Trainee focused on CAD/Creo. Based in Bangalore, you will assist engineering teams in design, 3‑D modelling and product development while gaining real‑world automotive experience.

Responsibilities

Support engineering design activities using CAD tools such as Creo, CATIA or SolidWorks.
Create and review 2‑D drawings and 3‑D models following industry standards.
Assist in applying GD&T, drawing standards and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with senior engineers to learn product development workflows.
Prepare documentation and presentations using MS Office applications.

Eligibility

B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
Graduation year 2024, 2025 or 2026.
Minimum 65% aggregate across academics.
Fresh graduate – no prior industry experience required.

Skills

Strong fundamentals in Mechanical/Automobile engineering.
Basic proficiency with CAD software (Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks).
Understanding of 2‑D drawings, 3‑D modelling and GD&T.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
Good command of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
