About the role

Vara 5 is looking for a technical intern to work on AI‑driven full‑stack products. You will collaborate closely with the founders, design agent workflows, build backend services, create responsive front‑ends and deploy everything on AWS, all within tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement multi‑agent AI workflows and real‑time voice interfaces.
  • Develop backend APIs using Python (FastAPI) or Node.js (Express) and integrate with vector stores.
  • Build front‑end features with Next.js and React, ensuring responsive UI/UX.
  • Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and Supabase.
  • Collaborate on data modeling, schema design and vector storage solutions.

Eligibility

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to ship real projects – GitHub repos with AI agents or full‑stack apps.
  • Strong problem‑solving instincts and comfort with fast‑paced development.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for backend development.
  • Experience with React, Next.js (or React Native) for front‑end work.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as LangGraph, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, and vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone).
  • Understanding of REST APIs, OAuth/JWT, and cloud services (AWS, Supabase).
  • Hands‑on knowledge of workflow automation platforms like n8n.
