Associate Engineer – AB Suite

About the role

The Associate Engineer – AB Suite role in Bangalore focuses on developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications built on Unisys Agile Business Suite. Candidates will work under senior developers, provide L2/L3 support, and gain exposure to legacy enterprise technologies while following Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and unit‑test AB Suite application components.
• Perform code fixes, enhancements, and create technical documentation.
• Provide L2/L3 application support, troubleshoot production incidents, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Assist in deployment, validation, and performance monitoring of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge‑sharing sessions, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Follow SDLC, Agile, and secure coding standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Eligibility

• BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (or up to 3 years in application development, support, testing or maintenance).
• Basic understanding of software development fundamentals and object‑oriented concepts.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, DMSII or other RDBMS.
• Willingness to learn AB Suite, MCP, and related enterprise technologies.
