Associate Software Engineer

About the role

Trane Technologies is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join its Pune team. The role focuses on building and enhancing enterprise‑grade mobile applications using React Native, JavaScript and TypeScript. Candidates should have a B.E/B.Tech degree and at least one year of software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable React Native mobile features.
• Integrate mobile components with backend services through REST APIs and handle JSON data.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, write documentation and follow best coding practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve issues across the mobile stack.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and share knowledge within the team.

Eligibility

• B.E or B.Tech degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Strong foundation in JavaScript or TypeScript and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building or contributing to React Native applications.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON and state‑management tools such as Redux.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
