Digital Design Engineer

About the role

As a Digital Design Engineer at Texas Instruments in Bangalore, you will join the Career Accelerator Program and work on cutting‑edge digital IC projects such as 64‑bit DSP processors, MMUs and multicore cache systems. You will design, model, verify and document digital circuits that meet strict performance, power, cost and schedule targets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and system engineering teams to define design specifications.
• Analyze architecture trade‑offs to ensure performance and cost efficiency.
• Participate in design reviews and produce required documentation.
• Oversee IC layout quality and compliance.
• Characterize prototype chips, create test specifications and work with test/product engineering for releases.
• Develop and maintain behavioral models for verification.
• Gain exposure to design verification and analog design through projects and formal learning.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and teamwork capabilities.
• Proactive attitude with good time‑management for on‑time delivery.

Skills

• Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog.
• Digital IC design and verification.
• DSP and ARM processor knowledge.
• CPU architecture and cache coherency concepts.
