About the role

Tekion is seeking a senior engineer to lead the design and delivery of high‑performance, cloud‑native infrastructure automation components. The position is based in Bangalore, India and requires 5‑7 years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable services that support platform growth.
Drive end‑to‑end feature development, from concept through production deployment.
Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to shape system design and technical strategy.
Mentor junior team members and champion best‑practice engineering standards.
Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce quality guidelines.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in both development and production environments.

Eligibility

5–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Skills

Proficiency in one or more modern languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
Strong grasp of distributed systems and cloud‑native architectures.
Hands‑on experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Ability to optimise performance and ensure system reliability.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and mentorship capabilities.
