Quality Assurance Engineer Intern

About the role

Techdome is looking for enthusiastic freshers to join as Quality Assurance Engineer Interns in Hyderabad or Indore. The internship focuses on test automation, API validation and performance testing using modern tools like Playwright, Selenium and AI assistants, with mentorship and a clear path to a full‑time SDET position.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright or Selenium.
• Execute UI testing to verify web application functionality across browsers.
• Create and run API tests for REST services, integrating them into the automation framework.
• Assist in performance and load testing activities to assess system scalability.
• Investigate test failures, debug issues and communicate findings to the engineering team.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude to accelerate coding and problem‑solving while validating generated output.

Eligibility

• Graduating or recent graduate (2024‑2026 batch) from any discipline.
• Hands‑on experience writing automated tests with Playwright or Selenium through a project, internship or coursework.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript, Java or Python.
• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Claude) for coding assistance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely on real product features and collaborate with engineers.
