About the role

Synopsys is hiring Interns for its VLSI & Microelectronics Internship programme at Bangalore, giving M.Tech students and recent graduates a chance to work on cutting-edge semiconductor technology.

Responsibilities

  • EDA Collaboration: Work with VLSI application engineers on Synopsys EDA tools used to design and sign off advanced SoCs and 3DICs.
  • Customer & Team Engagement: Collaborate with semiconductor customers and internal software development teams from ideation to deployment.
  • Verification & Testing: Assist in verification, testing and debugging of silicon chips and circuits.
  • System Optimization: Contribute to the development and optimization of high-performance electronic systems.
  • Problem Solving: Engage in technical problem-solving and provide innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
  • Documentation: Document results, present findings and participate in team meetings to share progress.

Eligibility

  • Currently pursuing an M.Tech in VLSI, Electronics, Microelectronics or related fields (preferred).
  • Recent M.Tech graduates aspiring to enter the semiconductor domain are also considered.
  • Batch Year: 2024, 2025 and 2026 batches are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge in electronics, microelectronics and VLSI concepts, with demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and programming skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
