About the role

Synopsys offers a 12‑month full‑time apprenticeship in Noida for fresh graduates. You will work on functional verification of high‑speed serial links, building and maintaining UVM‑based testbenches, creating test scenarios, and collaborating with design engineers to ensure RTL quality.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain UVM testbenches for SerDes PHY digital blocks.
Write and run test cases, sequences, checkers, and assertions to validate RTL functionality and protocol compliance.
Analyze simulation results, debug failures, and coordinate with design engineers to resolve issues.
Contribute to coverage‑driven verification by creating functional coverage models and tracking metrics.

Eligibility

Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical or a related engineering field.
Graduated in 2025 or 2026; not currently enrolled in any postgraduate program.
Not employed in a full‑time role; limited internship experience is acceptable.
Strong fundamentals in digital electronics and proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog.
Familiarity with functional verification methodologies such as UVM, OVM or VMM is a plus.
Basic knowledge of PCIe protocol is advantageous.
