Apprentice Software Engineer

About the role

SymphonyAI is offering a 12‑month apprenticeship for recent graduates or final‑year students to join its R&D Development team in Bangalore. The position provides hands‑on experience across the full software stack, including front‑end, back‑end, APIs, databases, cloud services and emerging generative‑AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and building web applications using Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript and .NET/C#.
• Develop, consume and test RESTful APIs while following clean‑code principles.
• Write efficient SQL queries, optimise database performance and support data pipelines on Azure, SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Debug issues across front‑end, back‑end and database layers using systematic root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects and QA in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Contribute to unit and integration testing, code reviews and performance tuning.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MCA or Engineering.
• Recent graduates or final‑year students (2026 batch preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases and software development workflows.

Skills

• Proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Solid grasp of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS; Angular or similar framework is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python for data‑processing or AI‑related tasks.
• Exposure to Azure cloud services, REST API development and version‑control tools.
