Apprentice (Application Engineering)

About the role

Swiss Re is hiring an Apprentice for its Group Digital and Technology Office (GDTO) at Hyderabad. This is an entry-level role where you combine design thinking, software development and agile principles to build high-quality applications, collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

• High-quality engineering and rollout of applications and products
• Source business requirements and translate them into software artefacts
• Develop and maintain documentation and training material
• Proactively engage business analysts in change management activities
• Stay on top of the latest developments in the technology space

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 2024 or 2025 graduates only
• Strong foundation in computer science, data structures and algorithms
• Good knowledge of Java, C# or Python with database and OOPs concepts
