Full Stack Engineer, Senior Associate

About the role

State Street is hiring for the position of Full Stack Engineer, Senior Associate in Bangalore. This role is suitable for software engineers interested in building enterprise applications using Python or Java, React or Angular, REST APIs, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, databases, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain application features across the full technology stack.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Java.
• Build responsive and reusable frontend components using React and/or Angular.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs, service endpoints, and backend business logic.
• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable enterprise applications.
• Support application development and deployment on cloud-native infrastructure including AWS and/or Azure.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Eligible Degrees: B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, or BCA.
• Experience: 0–7 years of experience in software engineering or full-stack application development.

Skills

• Backend: Working knowledge of Python or Java.
• Frontend: Experience with at least one modern framework such as React or Angular.
• APIs: Understanding of REST API design, web services, and integration patterns.
• Databases: Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, data modelling, and query concepts.
• Cloud: Exposure to cloud-native development using AWS and/or Azure.
