SOTI is looking for a Software Developer 2 to join its Kochi office. The role involves building scalable applications, delivering medium‑complexity modules, and collaborating in an Agile Scrum environment. Candidates should have 3‑5 years of experience and a strong foundation in both front‑end and back‑end technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and develop well‑architected, scalable software solutions.
Deliver medium‑complexity features on schedule while meeting quality and performance standards.
Investigate and work with unfamiliar codebases to resolve issues.
Apply Agile Scrum practices and contribute to continuous delivery.
Maintain high‑quality code and documentation.
Propose innovative approaches to solve business challenges.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any STEM‑related discipline.
3‑5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, OOP concepts, and databases.
Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Skills

Proficiency in one or more languages such as C#/.NET, Java, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, C/C++, Kotlin, Swift.
Experience with front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and back‑end services.
Understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum or XP.
Ability to work with minimal guidance and adapt to ambiguous problems.
