Specialist Software Engineer - Angular Front End

About the role

As a Specialist Software Engineer focusing on Angular front‑end development at Société Générale in Bangalore, you will create, enhance and maintain scalable banking web applications. You will work with modern JavaScript frameworks, collaborate with back‑end teams, and ensure high‑quality, secure user experiences for financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive UI components using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Integrate front‑end features with Java‑based micro‑services and Spring Boot APIs.
• Maintain code quality through Git, code reviews, pair programming and test‑driven development.
• Deploy and monitor applications using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate in Agile squads, contribute to sprint planning and deliverables.
• Analyse performance issues, troubleshoot bugs and ensure timely delivery under pressure.

Eligibility

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Solid background in Java development, preferably with Spring Boot and cloud‑native micro‑services.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools and Git.
• Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
