Senior Software Developer - IoT Application Frontend

About the role

This is a senior IC position within Siemens' Foundational Technologies org, focused on building frontend software for IoT applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and functional specs to design and build frontend components
• Implement and unit test features for IoT-facing applications
• Guide junior engineers on design and development decisions
• Review code and technical documentation; maintain quality standards
• Drive CI/CD integration and on-time delivery of solution artifacts
• Work across teams on requirements, integration, and deployment

Eligibility

• 5–10 years of software development experience
• Strong command of Angular and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of micro-frontend patterns and Module Federation
• Experience with Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS
• Testing discipline with Jest and Playwright
• Familiarity with API tooling (Swagger, Postman)
• Relevant engineering degree (B.E., B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent)
