About the role

Siemens Gamesa is looking for a motivated intern to support software development and testing activities within its Loads and Controls Engineering team in Bangalore. The role involves programming, tool validation, documentation, and close collaboration with engineers to enhance wind turbine control software.

Responsibilities

Eligibility

  • Currently pursuing a B.Tech (3rd/4th year) or M.Tech (1st year) in Control & Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • No prior professional experience required; academic or personal projects in relevant programming languages are valued.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaborative skills.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and LaTeX.
  • Understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming and software testing concepts.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Mercurial) and agile tools such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory).
