Trainee Test Engineer

About the role

Side, the global leader in services for video games, is hiring freshers for the role of Trainee Test Engineer at its Hyderabad centre.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of game features, functionality and performance to identify defects and ensure overall quality.
• Execute test cases and test plans according to project requirements and deadlines.
• Document and track bugs using designated bug tracking tools, providing detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans and testing reports.

Eligibility

• Any graduate / diploma holder from 2024, 2025 or 2026 batches with a strong passion for video games and willingness to start a career in Game Testing & QA.
• Good written English for clear bug documentation.
• Detail-oriented, curious mindset, team player, willing to learn QA tools.
