SDE 2 - Front-End Web

About the role

Slice is looking for a Frontend SDE‑2 with 3‑5 years of experience to build scalable, high‑performance web applications for its consumer banking platform. The role focuses on creating responsive single‑page applications, implementing micro‑frontend architectures, and ensuring optimal performance while collaborating closely with design, product and backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high‑performance, modular frontend applications.
• Develop responsive, pixel‑perfect UI based on design specifications.
• Optimize speed, performance and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Implement SPA, SSR and micro‑frontend architectures using React and Next.js.
• Configure build tools such as Vite and Webpack and lead code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to deliver features.

Eligibility

• Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.S.).
• Proven expertise in JavaScript and React.js.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js and modern state‑management libraries.
• Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to write clean, testable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
