Sr Software Engineer

About the role

ServiceNow is looking for a senior front‑end engineer to create AI‑driven conversational employee portals and high‑performance web components. The position is based in Hyderabad and follows a hybrid work model, allowing collaboration on‑site while also supporting remote work days. You will work with modern JavaScript frameworks to deliver scalable, responsive user experiences for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable web components using React, Lit and standard Web Component APIs.
• Integrate AI‑based conversational features into employee self‑service portals.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to translate requirements into functional UI.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in front‑end architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration pipelines.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in front‑end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.
• Hands‑on experience with Lit and Web Components.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
