About the role

The Apprentice Software Development program at S&P Global is a fresh‑graduate opportunity to join the product team and contribute to building loan data platforms. You will work on cloud‑based applications, write C# code, and follow Agile practices while learning the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into technical solutions for leveraged loan datasets.
Develop and maintain cloud‑based applications, primarily using C#.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
Assist in building data‑mastering systems for syndicated loans.
Document code, processes and technical specifications.
Engage in knowledge‑sharing sessions and continuous learning activities.

Eligibility

Recent graduate or final‑year student of B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, MCA, M.S or M.Tech (or any graduate degree).
Batch years 2024‑2027.
Strong academic record with a passion for software development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Legal eligibility to work in India for the program duration.

Skills

Proficiency in C# programming.
Understanding of cloud‑based application development.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
