Application Security Intern

About the role

Rubrik is seeking an Application Security Intern to join their engineering ecosystem. The successful candidate will work on high-impact projects, assist core engineering teams in reproducing, triaging, tracking, and addressing application security vulnerabilities, and develop technical solutions to optimize Rubrik's Secure SDLC framework.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering Teams in reproducing, triaging, tracking and addressing application security vulnerabilities
• Build technical solutions that will further optimize Rubrik's Secure SDLC
• Develop tooling that will automate repetitive tasks and improve the Application Security team's overall efficiency
• Work closely with other Application Security Engineers to develop security best practices and document standards
• Assist with the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards for Application Security metrics

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field
• Graduating in 2027
• Available to work full-time for 12-week program
• Demonstrated software engineering experience from a previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications

Skills

• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages like Python, Go, Scala, C/C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, etc) and MicroServices
